**RATIO :**

Two Term Ratio - compares two quantities measured in the same unit.

Example - White Cookies: Blue Cookies

Three Term Ratio - compares three quantites measured in the same unit.

Example : White Cookies: Blue Cookies: Pink Cookies

Part to Part Ratio - compares different parts of the group to the whole group.

Example: White Cookies:Yellow Cookies

Part to Whole ratio - compares one part of a group to the whole group. It can be written in a decimal, fraction and percent.

Example: Purple Cookies : Total Cookies 8:21
