In grade 7 math I think the best unit we studied was Integers and a bit of Coordinate Grid's because for me it was the easiest unit to learn. The unit that made me struggle was Fractions, Decimals, Percent, Probability, Circles, and bit more, it made me struggle because in the beginning it didn't make sense and by the end of the unit it made more sense but then we have to move on to a different unit.
For me to be successful in Grade 8 math I think I would try to understand the subject and start reading my notes and try to do extra math homework if I have time. There is nothing I would really like to learn this year only the things that you are planning for us to learn this year.
I did a few blogs last year and the blog I think I did well in was this blog:http://room43math09.blogspot.com/2010/05/find-mean-median-mode-range-and.html
Blogging REALLY helped me learn the units in math better because you read it in your note and type it down, two things that help me study and remember and at the same time it made math a bit more fun. In grade 8 math I would like to continue blogging again so it could help me in the math units we will be learning.
Good Job Cathlene, Your blog if very neat and easy to Read. However next time i think instead of putting the whole link , Try putting it into a text like Mr.Harbeck showed us in class.
ReplyDeleteGood job Cathlene! I liked how you made a word all capital letters because it showed me how you would say it if you were explaining the sentence. You would say it with great enthusiasm, and expression. Good job!
ReplyDeleteNice blog Cathlene. It was simple and you got right to your points. Next time, try not to put so many of the units you have trouble with. Other than that.. keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteGood job Cathlene! Your post was well written but I think you should have read over your spelling because i saw one or two spelling mistakes. I also think that maybe instead of putting the whole link, you could have put it as a word or phrase. Other than that, great job!
ReplyDeleteGood job Cathlene. Your post made sense and was imformative. You made very few mistakes. One thing you could do is make your link smaller because it took up a whole line. Other than that good job. :)
