Square root is the inverse of squaring

5² = 5 x 5 or 25
√25 is WHAT times it self ?
has a product of 25
5 x 5 = 25 || √25 = 5

*Opposites *

+ addition , - subtraction
x multipication , ÷ division
x² squared , square root


NOTES :
  • Use fractions to show the estimated √ ( square root ) between 1-23
  • How can you use " perfect squares " to estimate 's ?

  2. Good job Jocelle! Your post was simple and very colourful. One thing I got confused with was your picture. I didn't really know what your picture was. Also try not to use the colour yellow with your font, it's hard to read. Other than that keep up the good work!

  4. I agree with Roemer about using the colour yellow. However, I liked the other colours and that I was able to read and understand this post clearly (except for the fraction part we did at school). GOOD JOB! (YY)

  9. Great post Jocelle! I really liked your post because it was neat and easy to understand. In my opinion the yellow wasn't that hard to read. I liked the amount of colour you used because the colours weren't to overwhelming. You used the just the right amount of colours. It also had all the content it needed

  10. Great job Jocelle! I really liked your use of colour but next time, don't use yellow because it's hard to see. Also, your picture was confusing; you can't tell what it's a picture of so yeah.. But everything else was well done. Keep up the good work! (:
