Proportinal reasoning-A relationship that shows two ratios or two rates are equal.
Example-How much will 12 erasers cost if 3 erasers cost $0.75?
Multiply 3 by 4 to get 12 so if u multiply 75 by 4 you get $3.00.
Rates-compares 2 quantities measured in different units.
Two Term- Compares 2 quantities.
Example. A:B
Three Term-Compares three quantities.
Example. A:B:C
Part to Part- Compares 2 parts of a whole.
Example. 2:3 23233
Part to Whole- Compares 1 part to a whole.
Example. 2:5 22333
Rates-Comapares 2 different quantities.
Unit Rate- When the second term is 1.
Example. 27km/Hr
Unit Price-Is used when shopping.
Example. $1.35/100g
