Hi, my name is Jocelle . I am a math student in grade 8. If someone ask me if I liked math, I would say either yes or no, because math isn't my best subject but i like learning new stuff in math. Something that I struggle in is solving different kinds of math problems. I am not the best in math but i love learning new things and working hard as I can to improve it. I remember when i was in grade 2 and we had a quiz about multiplications and fractions. I was counting the cookies and breaking them into fractions for me and my partner, so then i got hungry while i was counting and I started eating it . After I was full, the teacher told us that we were the only one that got the right answer. That was really really fun!
Last year in grade 7, the best units that I studied were integers, range, mean, median, outlier, mode, and some of the formulas. I think i did some of them well because i find it easy to do when we were doing it in class and when i started reviewing them for math exam. Solving two-step algebraic Equations made me struggle a bit . I think i could improve my learning skills in math by reviewing what I did each day and ask other people who knows how to to do it.
I would try to redo the things that i did or review what we did from last week to today after I'm done doing my homeworks and try to participate more in class this year to be a successful math student. I would like to learn more about math and re reading my notes so its always in my head.
My blogging experiences helped me because I had to type what we wrote and learned while reading it, and also reviewing my notes that we just did. This year, I would like to continue making posts for the blog.
Nice blog Post Jocelle ! . It's very neat and really easy to read,However next time i think you should review it to make sure your grammar makes sense ,Also to try and put one of your old post up. Keep up the good work !
ReplyDeleteGreat job Jocelle. Very organized, like other posts. Try considering capitals for "i", however the most words are properly spelled with capitals. HAHA I liked your story in the beginning! Good job!
ReplyDeleteNice job Jocelle. You're blog was understandable and you gave good explanations. Next time, try not to be so repeatative and re-read your blog to check some of your grammar and capitalization. You also could have included a post you did last year. That's all I have to say. Good work!
ReplyDeleteGood job Jocelle! I found your story in the beginning really funny, it's a typical thing for you to do. Haha! I like how you when you listed the things you like and dislike you were very specific. Keep up the good work! (:

ReplyDeleteGood Job Jocelle, Your blog was very neat and understandable. I liked it when you talked about the cookie fraction. The one thing you could of done was put in some missed capitals. Anyways keep it up.
ReplyDeleteGreat job Jocelle! I could understand your blog very well because the grammar, spelling, and punctuation was all good. I also liked the size of your first paragraph but try to make your last paragraph next time maybe a couple sentences longer. But over all GREAT JOB!!!
ReplyDeleteGood job, Jocelle ! I really like your blog was understandable. As everybody else said, about the cookie part, it reminded me of when we were cooking the cookies in Foods, and you, Melanie, Kristel and I all kept fighting over which cookie we wanted and splitting them up evenly ! :) You could have spell checked and made sure your capitals were in place. Great post.
